Friargate, Coventry.  GW Planning has secured Reserved Matters Approval for Friargate LLP for details of the 'Green Deck' over Coventry's Ring Road.  This will replace the existing Junction 6 roundabout with traffic calmed routes and a landscaped open space with a pedestrian boulevard extending Greyfriars Green in the City Centre to the Friargate site and Coventry Station.  GW Planning worked closely with Coventry City Council's transportation officers and the Friargate Design Team to resolve the submission.  This major infrastructure work has £12.7m of Regional Growth Fund support to underpin the Friargate scheme.

Friargate Coventry. GW Planning has secured Reserved Matters approval for the first office building to be built at Friargate Coventry, and for the adjacent new Station Square.  The 13 storey BREEAM 'Excellent' offices are to be occupied by Coventry City Council.  The new square with high quality paving, planting, fountain and kiosk will link Coventry Station to the city core and provides the setting for other future phase buildings at Friargate.
